Enhance your appreciation for our ecoregion’s native plant communities by learning
how their pollinators ensure fertilization and species survival. Become familiar
with a number of prominent pollinators. We’ll cover basic concepts of pollination ecology
and develop understanding of factors that contribute to our region’s unique assemblage of pollinating insects. We’ll practice simple methods of identifying common fly and bee genera
as we encounter them in the field and observe their behavior.
