This 850-acre property is situated at the gateway to the Illinois River Canyon – nestled up against the Siskiyou Mountains and overlooking the beautiful Deer Creek Valley. Deer Creek Center’s facilities include unlimited primitive camp sites, two yurts, a state-of-the-art solar bathhouse and a covered picnic pavilion.

Siskiyou Field Institute’s offices are located onsite in the historic Kendeda House, which also boasts a large classroom, three private bedrooms, a dorm room that sleeps six, a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious great room and a covered porch overlooking the valley and the mountains beyond.

Deer Creek Center is available for rent year-round. Whether you’re looking for a place to stay while you explore the hiking trails and wild rivers of the Klamath-Siskiyous, a home base for your research project, a location for your next business retreat, or a place to host a special event – Deer Creek Center has a lot to offer!
