Bird Taxonomy and Diversity

Hone your identification skills and explore relationships among groups of birds in this lab and field course. Spend Saturday in the lab at SOU refreshing your taxonomic know-how, looking at identifying characteristics and discussing species’ ecological adaptations. Travel to the Klamath Basin on Sunday to visit one of the richest birding sites in Oregon and practice recognizing species in the field.
