Learn how to respond to emergencies in remote settings. Wilderness Medicine Institute’s (WMI) nationally recognized program will give you tools to make critical medical and evacuation decisions. WMI’s instructors teach this 80-hour course that covers wound management, realigning fractures and dislocations, improvised splinting techniques, patient monitoring and long term management, up-to-date information on environmental emergencies, plus advice on drug therapies. Emphasis is placed on prevention and decision-making.
